Cal State LA will serve as a Los Angeles County Vote Center for the Nov. 3 general election, giving voters another place to cast their ballots in person.
Los Angeles County voters can cast their ballots for an extended voting period at any Vote Centers located across the county, instead of at a single designated polling place on Election Day.
The Cal State LA Vote Center will be open Saturday, Oct. 31, through Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
The center will be located on the fourth floor of the University Library, Palmer Wing. Drive-through voting will be available in Lot 4. Hours of operation and other details can be found on the Cal State LA Vote Center webpage.
“Cal State LA is proud to serve as a Vote Center and make voting more accessible to people across Los Angeles County,” said Cal State LA President Berenecea Johnson Eanes. “Our university’s connection to Los Angeles is central to who we are, and supporting civic participation is one way we help strengthen the communities we call home.”
Voters can also return vote-by-mail ballots at the county’s permanent ballot drop box near Lot 4, across from the Career Center. The box is available to all Los Angeles County voters. No postage is needed.
Free visitor parking for voters—including accessible parking spaces—will be available in the upper level of Structure C. Accessible parking is also available in Lot 4. If at capacity, please see information on the visitors parking webpage.
Californians must be registered to vote at least 15 days before Election Day. Registration must be postmarked or submitted electronically no later than Oct. 19, 2026. For this date and other important election deadlines, go to election dates and resources webpage.
